After that, we are going to head to the Azrou forest, which is well-known for its fragrant cedar trees and is home to wild Barbary macaque monkeys that are referred to as “Magots.” We are going to pause here for a few minutes in order to capture some photographs of the wild monkeys. After that, we will begin our journey to the city of Midelt, which will take us through the breathtaking landscape of the Middle Atlas Mountains.

After leaving Midelt, we will go via the Tizi Ntlghamt trail and the Ziz Gorge, and then we will pass through Tizi Ntlghamt, where you will see how the terrain and the surrounding environment alter the closer you approach to Errachidia City. You will come over dry ground and enter a world filled with oasis and veldts.

After that, you will drive through the Ziz Valley, and along the way, you will make a few pit stops to soak in the breathtaking vistas and snap some photos. After that, we will go via the rather tiny towns of Erfoud and Rissani. After Erfoud and Rissani, we will travel directly to Merzouga, which is approximately 30 kilometers from Rissani. Upon arrival in the evening, we will have tea before going on a camel trek with an experienced camel man.

We will spend the night in Berber tents in the middle of the sand dunes and enjoy dinner there under the moon and stars.

Day 4 Merzouga – Toudgha Gorges – Boumalane Dades – Dades Gorge.

Following your viewing of the dawn, the camel driver will take you back to your hotel, where you may freshen up with a shower and have breakfast. After that, we will go to the Gorge of Morocco that is the tallest and narrowest (GORGE TODGHA). Following our exploration of Gorge Todgha, we will go to Boumalane Dades to learn about the Valley of Dades and to see the incredible and spectacular rock formation known as the “Monkeys Toes.” Gorge Dades will be your home for the night.

We will leave our accommodation in Gorge Dades in the morning for the trip to Ouarzazate after breakfast. And go through the Skoura oasis, which is known for its traditional Kasbahs. Then there is Ouarzazate, which is often referred to as the “Hollywood of Desert” and of Morocco in general. Within the Souss-Massa-Draa region of southern-central Morocco lies the province of Ouarzazate.

When you go touring in Ouarzazate, you will come across a Taourirt Kasbah. This Kasbah was once owned by Caid Thami El Glaoui, and it is now home to the Atlas Studios, where a great number of films have been shot. Following our visit to Ouarzazate, we will continue our journey by car to the fortified settlement of Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After reaching Ait Ben Haddou, we will continue on to Marakesh by way of the High Atlas Mountains’ Tizi Ntichka Pass, which has a series of hairpin curves. We will approach the city of Marrakesh in the evening after we have traversed the Tizi Ntichka bends.

Day 6 will be spent sight-seeing in Marrakesh.

The whole of the day is devoted to seeing the captivating and lovely city of Marrakesh, which is characterized by its fusion of Berber customs, Arab renaissance, and Western influences. We will visit the Tombs of the Saadien Kings, the Dar Si Said Museum, which is located in a palace dating back to the 19th century, the Agdal and Menara Gardens, and the Koutoubia Mosque, which dates back to the 12th century and is located on a hill overlooking the city.
