We will take a trip to Ifrane, sometimes known as the “Switzerland” of Morocco, as well as the cedar woods of Azrou, where we will have the opportunity to stop and feed monkeys by hand.

Proceed to Midelt, where we shall have lunch in a little while. After that, we will stick close to the Ziz River as it winds its way down the valley and make a pit break at the Ziz Gorges on the route to Merzouga.

Day 2: Merzouga Erg Chebbi Camel Trekking Tour:

We will travel into the desert today and marvel at the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which are really a natural wonder. We are going to do a loop around the sand dunes in the desert, and during this time you will get the chance to see the nomadic way of life as well as the incredible range of contrasts that the desert offers. We will go to Khamlia, often known as the “black village,” to see some Gnawa musicians perform.

Rissani, the old capital of Morocco, is a great place to stop for lunch and have a typical Berber pizza. We will ride camels in the afternoon to watch the sun set over the sand dunes, and then we will spend the night in a tent put up in the desert. In the breathtaking Sahara desert, we will enjoy a traditional meal of tagine, sip some excellent mint tea, and listen to traditional music from the Berber people as we watch the stars and the moon rise.

Day 3: Erg Chebbi Rissani Todra Gorges:

The morning will conclude with a camel walk back to the hotel at the dune line for a quick shower after breakfast. After leaving the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi in the Sahara desert, we take an off-road drive over the hamada (black desert) to reach the village of Rissani in the Sahara. There, we have the choice to explore the lively local market.

After that, we will travel to Erfoud, which is located in the north of the country and is famous for its fossils. While we are there, we will have the opportunity to stop at a fossil workshop before continuing our journey to the impressive Todra canyons, which are famous for rock climbing and offer hiking opportunities before we check into the hotel. Dinner followed by overnight
