We will travel into the desert today and marvel at the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which are really a natural wonder. We are going to do a loop around the sand dunes in the desert, and during this time you will get the chance to see the nomadic way of life as well as the incredible range of contrasts that the desert offers. We will go to Khamlia, often known as the “black village,” to see some Gnawa musicians perform.
Rissani, the old capital of Morocco, is a great place to stop for lunch and have a typical Berber pizza. We will ride camels in the afternoon to watch the sun set over the sand dunes, and then we will spend the night in a tent put up in the desert. In the breathtaking Sahara desert, we will enjoy a traditional meal of tagine, sip some excellent mint tea, and listen to traditional music from the Berber people as we watch the stars and the moon rise.

After leaving the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi in the Sahara desert, we take an off-road drive over the hamada (black desert) to reach the village of Rissani in the Sahara. There, we have the choice to explore the lively local market.
After that, we will travel to Erfoud, which is located in the north of the country and is famous for its fossils.
