Overview:
6 Days Tour from Tanger to Marrakech ; A trip from Tangier to Marrakech that lasts for six days is a lot of fun. During this journey, you will get the opportunity to see the stunning natural scenery of Morocco, including the spectacular and gorgeous blue city of Chefchaouen, the golden Sahara desert, the UNESCO world heritage site, and the most exquisite Kasbah: Ait benhaddou. You will also get the opportunity to experience the way of life in the desert, ride a camel into the depths of the desert, and spend a night under a sky filled with stars and galaxies in the middle of the desert.
Tour Plan :
DAY 1: TANGER – CHEFCHAOUEN – FES:
On the first day of our excursion, we will pick you up at the dock and travel through the Rif highlands, stopping at Tetoun city to take in the breathtaking scenery of the surrounding mountains, and then continuing on to Chefchaouan, one of the most beautiful towns in the Rif mountains’ foothills. The Chefchaouen medina included a plaza designed in the manner of Spain that was surrounded by a variety of hip restaurants, cafés, and shops selling arts and crafts.
If there is time, we may make a quick stop and then continue on our trip to fes, where we will spend the night in a Moroccan riad and have both supper and breakfast included.
DAY 2: DISCOVERING FES – IFRANE -MIDDLE ATLAS MOUNTAIN – MIDELT:
Following breakfast, we will go on an adventure around the fes medina, during which you will have the opportunity to discover numerous hidden gems that are known exclusively to the locals of the area. Fes was the capital of Morocco for almost three hundred fifty years, and it is also the location of the Institution of Al Karaouine, which claims the title of being the world’s oldest continuously functioning university.
The Moulay Idriss tomb, the Nejjarine Fountains, and the Tanneries are going to be some of the stops during your guided tour. After that, we will travel south to Ifrane and Azrou across the Middle Atlas mountain, where you will have the opportunity to view monkeys in the natural life, and then we will arrive in Midelt, where we will spend the night in a luxurious hotel and be served supper and breakfast in the morning.
DAY 3:MIDELT – RISSANI – MERZOUGA DESERT AND CAMELTREKKING:
We are going to go on after breakfast. As you approach the city of Errachidia, you will see views of the high Atlas plateau as you travel through the Tizi Ntalghamt pass and along the magnificent Ziz Gorges, which were carved through volcanic rock. Additionally, the scenery will change to reveal hints of the desert as you get closer to Errachidia. Our travels will take us farther down the Ziz Valley to the cities of Erfoud, Rissani, and Merzouga.
You will ride a camel at the end of the day to view the sunset in the center of the tallest sand dunes in Morocco, and you will spend the night there while listening to traditional Berber music. Spend the night in the desert camp, which is also where you will eat supper.
DAY 4: MERZOUGA DESERT – TODRA GORGE- DADES VALLEY- OUARZAZATE:
Your camel guide will wake you up at an ungodly hour so that you may see what might very well be the most beautiful sunrise of your entire life. To go back to the settlement of Merzouga, you’ll have to take a camel trip. Along the way, you won’t be able to help but marvel at the extraordinary Erg Chebbi sand dunes, which change their appearance in response to the shifting light throughout the day. Following breakfast and a quick shower, you will depart for the Rissani, Tinghir, and Todra gorges, which are Morocco’s tallest and narrowest gorges, respectively.
We will have lunch in the middle of the gorges, and then continue on to the Dades valley and the roses valley on our way to Ouarzazate, often known as the Hollywood of Africa. We will be spending the night at a cozy inn, and both supper and breakfast will be provided.
DAY 5: OUARZAZATE- AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH- MARRAKECH:
Following breakfast at your riad, we will depart for the day’s first destination, the renowned Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which is the biggest Kasbah in all of Morocco. after touring this amazing historical monument that is protected by UNESCO. Our trip will go across the magnificent Tizi n’ tichka pass, which is 2,260 meters in elevation and is located in the High Atlas Mountains. We will have time to stop and take in the breathtaking scenery as well as visit the cooperative that produces argan oil. We stopped for lunch in the middle of the mountains.
We are scheduled to arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon, giving us plenty of time to explore the city’s most renowned square (jamaa lafna ). in addition to spending the night in a traditional riad located inside the Medina. together with the lunch and the breakfast.
DRIVE TO THE AIRPORT ON THE SIXTH DAY:
On this day, you will have a greater amount of free time to investigate. Drive to the airport after spending some time in Marrakech up to the time when your flight is scheduled to leave.
