Tour Plan :
Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Ouarzazate – Zagora
We pick you up at your hotel and drive to Ouarzazate via the Tizi n Tichka pass at an altitude of 2,260 meters. Along the way, we will stop to visit the best preserved Kasbah, of Ait Ben Haddou, where a number of well-known films have been shot, including Gladiator, The Mummy, Game of Thrones, Kingdom of Heaven, Galavant, and many more.
After lunch in the Kasbah, we will continue on our way to the Draa Valley, passing via the town of Ouarzazate, often known as the “Holywood of Morocco,” on the way to Zagora, which is our final destination. Ouarzazate is home to a large number of film studios. Before you mount your camels, you will each be presented with a steaming cup of tea as a kind gesture.
Spend the night in a traditional Berber tent set right in the middle of the sand dunes.
Day 2: Zagora – Ouarzazate – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
After seeing the dawn, you will have breakfast, and then after you take a shower, you will return on camels, and then we will begin our trip back to Marrakech…
traversing the Draa Valley, which is the longest valley in Morocco, as well as the Oasis of Tamnougalt and the town of Agdez, which is where the camel caravans used to stay in the days gone by before continuing on their journey to the south and arriving in Marrakech in the late afternoon.
